![]() ![]() The whole assembly is on Ebay for $100, but Idk if that is a trustworthy parts source. It's been an issue for a year (aside from a few winter months) now and doesn't seem to be getting worse. I'll replace the gasket and switch(es) before I buy the whole assembly. ![]() I could have sworn I found an old post here detailing the same things he said but it must have been a different website. He said this information was from trial and error in his personal experience with more than one of these. He claimed OBDII code for rocket arm control was due to this problem, as either the screen or switches aren't allowing the proper oil pressure. It happens sooner when it is hotter outside. The light only appears after the engine gets to temperature. The struggling/VSA light didn't happen when my thermostat was stuck, but that was also winter time. The lurching/power loss doesn't happen if I accelerate at a slower rate and it doesn't happen if the VSA light is off. Mine seems to struggle and top out on power only when accelerating too quickly to 35-40 (3rd gear?) and then again from 65-70 (into 5th?). He gave a seemingly thorough explanation of why the clog or another issue with that solenoid causes both the VSA/cruise control disabling and the shaking/power issue at certain times (something something vtech). I was comfortable with the advice as he told me to not buy the part yet, and especially not at his store. The check engine light shows on mine now but it didn't at first. Click to expand.Mine is shows P2646 (rocker arm) on an OBDII but I haven't had it on any other readers. ![]()
